Managing units is the most annoying part of this game. Having to move units to active positions to remove troops shouldn’t be necessary. Either let us empty the units (just highlight them with a “not ready” status) or at the very least let us manage all of them from the same page even if they are inactive.

I agree. Consider the unit de-activated and fold the personnel into the reserve.
While it’s like it is, i’m going for maxing out each unit and solider in each campaign. It’s taking a while.

I would also like to see something similar with weapons. Allow us to remove all weapons from troops and just highlight them as “not ready”. That way we can use all the weapons from reserve or inactive troops for parts.
Considering emptying inactive units I have like 20 Radiomans that I cant uprade because my artillery/radioman squad which has 1 slot has not been upgraded somewhat stupid!
I love this idea. I have 20 one star soldiers just sitting idle in unused squads right now. WOuld be nice to level them up at the academy
