A very simple suggestion:
I belive that instead of a completely random map, we should have a choice in what we want to play. And not have to either bear with it or desert the match.
I feel like a good way to implement this sort of mechanic would be to have a 1-2 minute period before the match starts, where 3 map options would be presented to every palyer in the match (for example a choice between: Voskhod settlement invasion, Quarry south invasion and Manner conquest). The players would then vote on the map they want.
When the time period is over, the map with the most votes would be selected and the sides randomly selected for each faction.
yes. it would be extra grand that all the maps connected in some way, and if historically their was more distance then a âin route mapâ would be used as a transition to the main map.
This transition map would be like a rail-car map or railroad / road stretch that has to be covered with some highly important bridges⌠only if a certain map is won then the map sequence would progress⌠haha
Donât get what youâre saying
Sounds great, but the playerbase is too small for these
Tricky stuff for sure. haha
Main Big Map 1 ---- If Won by Allies----> Progress to Traveling Map / Map 2
If Map2 is Lost by Allies then Progress back to Map 1 If Won goto Map 3/Traveling MapâŚ
For the Normandy Campaigns⌠On the Main screen it would say like, "Ohh no⌠Normandy beach has had 100,000+ Soldiers lost in last 4hours They need your help! " ahhah
As the beach-map would have had 4h of deadlock⌠crazy as it sounds. Crazy Germans holding a strong as hell wall of defense.
I better abandon games and look for the map I want to play, it seems more feasible
No, Iâm not a fan of that.
The matches would be too long.
And seeing as msot matches rn go like âone side completely stomps the otherâ, I donât think it would work.
Maybe as a seperate gamemode, but certainly not a switch to said system.
I still think we oculd make it work.
Even if there may only be like 15 people to vote, it could still make a difference. And you wouldnât be constantly stuck on trash.
How do you want bots to vote?
Bots wonât. But there really arenât as many of them as people think. At most 50% of a match.
