This is a good reason to hate the lack of friendly fire in this game. You build an mg nest only to have someone swoop in and take it from you while you switch from hammer to main weapon. Your only option currently is to tear it down and build it again since requests to get away from your mg are rarely respected. Let us get it back by pressing F to use it, making the builder a “superuser” that can boot out other users. Tearing it down wastes time and building resources but since we’re not getting any assist points from the kills of whoever is using it, tearing it down is still the best option seeing as we can only build 1 of these. Same should apply to AA guns and AT guns, let the builder get them back.
I’m of course talking about squad mode here, in lone fighters just shoot the thief.
Did happen to me today, twice. Was kinda upset but anyway. It’s just a game.

Same frustration when some troll decides he wants to drive your tank around when you get out to repair it or got some crew killed… Yes, an option to kick unwanted guests off your stuff would be nice.
I see the point of the OP, nonetheless aren’t engineers awarded an assist for every kill other players get by using the weapon they built?
If that’s not the case already, it should definitely be.
It’s a team game so when you’re building, you’re doing it for the team.
As long as someone use it correctly it’s perfectly fine. I’ll get assist and engineer points anyway.
But sometimes I wish it was possible to kick out those who just waste ammo with AA/AT by shooting at nothing…
Also, because the engineer built it doesn’t mean he knows better how to use it. I’d be frustrated if i was shooting down planes with the AA and then kicked by the engineer who prefers shooting 10 rounds just to get 1 rifleman.
Or imagine, the engineer is using the MG nest, gets killed, so you decide to use it because the enemy is rushing the cap and 3 seconds later you’re kicked by the engineer who had another soldier in reserve. You’d be “wtf bro”
Making the mg nest usable by only one player is really lame…
I dont mind if others use my mg im such a communist yea !!
but kills from it as assist or some kind of reward of usage like of other things would be nice tho !
literally newer happend to me , like never… only once player enter my tank … i had only one crew member … he wanted to help by driving me to position… got us out of cover and killed… still not mad he tried to help even tho he didint

Nobody asked for that I think. It’s just like if you press “F” for your self-built structures and spawned vehicles, whoever used it before is politely asked to give it over and he gives it over without hesitation (i.e. he is kicked out from the MG). When you’re gone, nothing prevents them from using it.

No, the engineer will be like “wtf bro” if he can’t use what he has built. You don’t get assist kills btw from someone else using your mg.
