Console players already have the option to disable crossplay with PC.
Give PC players the option to disable crossplay with console players. Most games offer such a feature.
Console players are typically below average in skill and I only want to play with other PC players.

I only play with console players, it’s like being on easy mode, although as you mentioned every now and then a sweat will come along and be a formidable enemy.

As a representative of the console players, I will attest that most console players suck. But they still remain above the performance of bots on average. Playing without them won’t fix any team imbalances, you’re still gonna have terrible players/bots on your team, and you’re just gonna jack up your own queue times. Plus not all console players are terrible, only a vast majority.

I just had a match where my entire team (9 of 10 players) was console. The other team was 7 PC and 3 console. I was top player on my team while largely doing support work like building rallies, sandbags, and barbed wire. 40 kills to 5 deaths - I did next to nothing and got twice the score of the #2 player on my team.
I physically cannot play with mouse and keyboard, so I use an XBOX gamepad. “PC has an advantage” is bogus. I am handicapped by using this gamepad, and consistently hover in the top 3 of my matches when on the same team as PC players. MOST console players are just plain bad, and I’m convinced that the bulk of them are children who want to “shoot stuff in the cool free war game.” When I first started playing, about 6 months ago, turned off in-game voice chat after hearing two kids arguing with their parents mid-match.

its finally good to see some people has common sense, a year ago when I complained about the same thing and asked for “pc players should be able to disable crossplay” all the console guys and sum others took it very personal and “skill issue” its good to see it changed lol
