Well this is a more simple suggestion than you think,Wy dont rework gold soldier giving them the ability of be every type of soldier you want?
You give him a mg
you give him an smg
you give him an sniper-rifle
You give him a panzerfaust
You add him in a tanker squad
And so on…
- (and as erika suggested give player who buyed it the freedom to select for free at lest two costum uniform clothes for change his default appearence)
I think this is the best way to rework them alongside giving them perfect stats this make them more worth of be purchased by player because now they can be used in an efficient way in both micro and macro management
(Other can give player full freedom in build his personal zuperzoldaten)

i mean. those things you pay 750 golds and they don’t even come with unique stuff.

to have your own fully customizable soldier from his appearance to his weapons.
like, your own personal soldier.

Well, it’s kind of against the spirit of golden order soldiers I’d say.
Most if not all of them are based on irl soldiers so it would be a shame to loose this as there is no other mechanic is game that could allow that.
Of course we can say fuck HA/IRL but imo deleting uniqueness is not the right way.
It’s not a bad idea.
Though personally I’d prefer that they just get all slots unlocked on purchase.

except, they are not unique, and do not look like anything alike the soldier that they should represent.
so. it’s more of a bonus and justify it’s price.
or make them worth.

That’s perfect. 100% onboard. Gold order soldiers should be worth having.
And having a soldier that Has all Cosmetics available is enough to be desirable. I think that Maybe universal soldier might be alittle too much value., But perhaps being able to choose at will, what tier of its type he is. E.g Engineer 1, 2, 3 - 4 for later (basically controlling the free perk)
