Let Decorations skins be appliable to Other vehicles without the paint job and vice versa

This suggestion is very simple, and came from one of the many cosmetic frustration of mine.

so the suggestion for today is simple:

Let players apply decorations of skins onto other same variant vehicle

&

Let players apply Paint jobs on these skins

Why?

well, not many know, but i kinda miss the ability to apply paintjobs for example, on gold order vehicles to retain markings or decorations.

Let’s take older examples:

let’s take this Panzer IV F2 From Stalingrad:

the cool thing about gold order vehicles, is that you can change for example in this case, the base paint job while retaining the Markings:

or the other way around.

Change the paintjob but retain the decorations:

Now let’s take a look at the current problems:

most of us have a cool skin tank from the BP. but we don’t like the paintjob.

And currently, There’s no way to change it.

because if if we do, we lose the decorations:

much like,
Let’s take a closer look of what i originally wanted to do, which should be possible to do, but it’s not:

why can’t i have a gold order vehicle with the insignia from the gold order vehicle that i own, with decorations from the recent m8 winter camouflages THAT I ALSO OWN ?

Or, just even being able to replace the winter paint job on the skins for non winter maps without losing the decoration?

Imo skins were a mistake, and gold orders were far better.

So, please.
Let players somehow have an option to retain the decorations and in others, the painjob like it’s possible to do with gold order vehicles.

and there are many more cases.
but i hate that the creativity of players is being restricted by a half thought out system.

may not be a big of a deal for some, but it is for others.

After all, why can’t we combine stuff like we used to?.

like battlefield 5, but better.

Watch the cosmetics update release and it not include anything we asked for

even more so egregious with the new semovente skin:

has literally 0 markings, and only decorations:

yet i cannot change the base paint to have the decorations with something else.

same with the sherman.

The inscriptions are on the additional armor. not the chassy.

but to no avail, no colors either.

I think that the current skins should be divided into two parts.

  • camouflage

  • decorations

And when we receive the skin, we will have a set of these two things. which we could freely combine.

I disagree
Now that you have skins for different conditions, you can choose a disguise for different maps.

For example, here you can use the basic camouflage in winter, and from the BP for Tunisia.
And even save the premium flag decoration

And I think this is a big plus, since there are simply no free camouflages in the game.

And I would really like to use all these camouflages on one tank in different conditions.

We have a big problem with the camouflage economy in the form of a paywall.
The camouflage purchased for gold does not apply even to the same tanks from TT or old BP

And we need a free set of camouflages for all vehicles to completely get rid of the white tanks in Tunisia and Berlin.

Forcing people to pay so that technology doesn’t look ridiculous is unacceptable.

except you can retain decoration or markings with gold order vehicles. while still have the ability to change the base paint with something else.

which you cannot do at all with skins.

so… by far, gold order vehicles ARE and WERE better.

which you cannot do with skins

only with gold order vehicles.

… which… you could have had a whole vehicle insteaed?

not to mention, it came fully upgraded too.

so… again, Go vehicles were 10x times better on every front.

Fun fact.
Airplanes skins are still full on Gold order Airplanes.

i think you mistunderstood skins ( set of paint job + decorations that cannot be changed ) with paint jobs / camos.

Any misunderstandings may be due to the fact that I have to use a translator.

Why do I need a completely white winter tank if I have to buy another camouflage (which I bought for the same tank from TT), despite the fact that I will keep the decor

I can’t choose a separate tank for each map, but skins are possible

Is this really such a big problem?

Yes, this may cause difficulties along the way of research.

But you can upgrade your tank for free, but you can only buy new camouflages for money.

I think they just can’t implement the camouflage change function like tanks have…

I understand that you are interested in repainting tanks without replacing the decor.
But it seems to me that the skins need to be separated.

However, let them leave the old tanks from the Golden Order alone. And issue their camouflage and a set of decorative elements as options for vehicles from TT. For those who have the Golden Order tank or will receive it from the veteran’s box.

And then you will be able to choose the right combination of decorations and camouflage for each map for one tank.

The only problem left was with the decals.
They should either be linked to the camouflage, or a third option should be created with their selection, which could potentially result in an overloaded interface.

That’s what I’m talking about
Having a basic tank.

And these two

We could do it like this

And this

And the same thing with the main versions of these tanks for the gold order
But I don’t think we need to bring back the individual tank format to BP.

Old gold tanks should automatically give out these customization elements.
And new “skins” should be issued as a set of two items.

So that we can do this

But you can’t switch the vehicles for diffrent campaigns, so if you have a vehicle with a bad paintjob for the campaign, you’re stuck.
