Just had a simple idea, to have an event where earning old legacy squads, weapons, and maybe vehicles that are no longer available. The basic idea is that in the event you can earn points to redeem said items, while there will be no limit on the weapons the cost will go up depending on how many you already have, you can only earn so many points to redeem but you could buy more points with gold and or a large amount of silver like 50k+ or something. I have been playing the game for a while and have already a good amount of legacy squads but my friends who just recently started playing the game wish to have the same squads that I have and I thought of this idea, of course, it’s not perfect and Dark Flow could just price them for gold and or other loot box but I think the arcade style ticket reward booth idea could be fun for veterans and rookies alike with the freedom to pick what squad or weapon you want. I see the problem with vehicle squads with people mostly just playing the event just to run two King Tigers but I think if higher squads are priced correctly to the amount of points you can earn or have it where you have choose between squads like if you buy the King Tiger squad form Berlin you would be locked off the squad for the IS2. I would like to talk more about this and like to hear other people’s thoughts about this. My newer buddies to the game want more British squads from North Africa and the Volksturm from Berlin.
and veteran players can buy a clone of the squad thus not giving a single finger salute to long term f2p’ers.

i mean you would never suggest selling old premium squads for silver would you
stealing from vet f2p/pre-merg to give to post merg f2p 
stealing from p2p pre-merg vets to give to f2p

I love the idea of earning old premium squads this event or just paying with silver, but I think the All-mighty wouldn’t go for that, sadly. I was thinking that because my buddies don’t want to spend on the game yet, an event that could give them some of what they missed out on could be a nice idea for f2p.
I like this idea but I have little faithbthat DF will do this. They would probably put the legacy squads in the Veterans Box instead. 
I’d rather have them available for purchase for 10-20k silver or 100-500 gold after you unlocked it’s tech tree counterpart AND make it permanent this time (I regret my lack of afterthought when I sell my 101st and 82nd ABN)

I prefer this idea over my own if this were to replace the gold order shop I would like it more because we will be getting something back. I’m not saying removing the gold order shop was a good idea. I think it would have to cost more than 10k base because that’s how much they give back is trashed. Brother, I miss my 82nd too.
i think it’s only fair that we can buy it with silver as it’s nothing but another cool logo to look at in your lineup unlike event squad that have their own unique weapons

I agree with it costing silver, i realize when I said trash as something bad meant when you delete the squad they give 10k back.
and if you do not have the silver or its tech counterpart unlocked then it should cost gold. While I would love it all to be free it’s more realistic to put some gold cost in there.
sadly they will never do it for free lol and I’m willing to bet they will almost always lean towards whatever solution that gonna cost us gold
Sadly agreed, thats why I thought of this fomo event idea. it makes sure someone spends gold, while people who play the event can get most of what they want, idea of not getting everything or having to wait for the event to return to sure few will spend gold. I thought to be less evil then the loot boxes.
that’s why rather than disguising cash grab as loot boxes I’d rather have them straight up ask us pay to get the squads
silver great idea, delusionally small amount of silver bad. you might as well ask them to sell premium squads for a hundred k silver.
how much do you think its fair to guarantee an event squad? 50k?
Agreed either have an event like i suggested or put in the shop a way to buy old squads. My original idea for the idea was it would cost gold orders like 3 personal and 1 vehicle gold order to buy a tank squad as example, then well their getting rid of gold orders. The other idea was to have old campaign bounty system were you had to complete challenges on the old campaign maps to level that campaign to get the squads.
I think it would be tier depend like rifleman 1 squad would cost 50k go up form there but for tier 1 tank would be 80k. But this just my narrow point of view and I would like the community feed back.
