Lazer Accurate Suden Death AA guns are sucking the joy out of flying.
Thier has been a major change in AA gun lethality, used to be you could maneuver a bit and bob and weave and mostly avoid being tagged by them, not anymore.
And the amount of damage they do per hit is much more significant than before.
I beginning to think, just Sitting in an AA gun all day is the most profitable way to spend my time.
Its because the HAND CRANKED flakvierling has the traverse and elevation speeds that rival that of something like a Gepard or Shilka
Ya, I just had a match where I just stopped using my planes because it was so nuts.
Some of the Spawn in points are so close to the action that almost as soon as I spawn in I am shot down.
I don’t why they changed it from before, i could kill planes easily enough then, now its just stupid easy to do.
Don’t know why u guys are complaining, AA is a pain to use since it over heats so fast and takes forever to cool down. Have you guys tried flying low instead of flying right at the AA.
a pain to use? it rotates as fast as the turret of a modern mbt 
Yeah the rotation speed buff was great before they redid damage models. Unless youre spamming the AA it wont overheat really. At this point I do feel like it is a little overtuned because of its turning speed
nah, it wasn’t necessary. yeah the plane damage models/server desync were fucked but they only added its because shitters with no ability to think further than 10 seconds into the future demanded to be able to react, when emplacements should be used proactively (ie aim in the direction the plane will come from, with the tiniest bit of gamesense, you know which side of the map his resup is) but this playerbase is so dumb they couldn’t even do that.
overheat was added to counter infantry farming but basically did nothing if you tap fired so they finally acquiesced and took mine (and many others’) suggestions to add a minimum elevation (after we’d been suggesting it for months)
honestly AAA is a pain to use only if you’re a complete monkey who can’t resist to spam the trigger and actually aim, this community i s2g
but yeah honestly now that AAA actually works and can shoot down planes in under 10 shots, it should have a sensible rotation speed. would be also nice to have faction specific AAA
