Just want to confirm two things as someone who took a long break. Pretty much every game will be a complete landslide for one side or another and the BR rating is basically lying to you and you’ll face everything ±2 from what you brought?
Alright, straight honest opinions:
I’m not a determinist, so I don’t think the outcome of a battle is not predetermined. Maybe this is a question of skill level, but I feel like I could have been the deciding factor in the outcome in almost every battle I take part in. Do I win every time? Of course not, but I can tell what things I did that were suboptimal and what I could have done differently for next time. Is every battle winable? Of course not, because as Captain Jean Luke Picard once said; “It is possible to commit no mistakes and still loose”.
That’s not the case anymore, there’s only ±1 (weird occasional issues with bots as far as I am aware, but not human players), and BR III Japan doesn’t even face BR IV or V US anymore.
there is a bug which allows it sometimes.
The premium squad bundles are always(? maybe not always but most of the time) are dropped into BR1-2 battles even though they sometimes have BR3 squads.
Thats why you can see Dickermax or Churchill when playing BR1 sometimes.
Again its a rare thing, but it exists.

Right on the nose. Can confirm it’s not especially rare, or, at least amplified due to NA having less players. Oh well, time to relive my glory days in Moscow and Normandy of charging with a stock squad and a rusty, bent boltie at firing lines of assorted wallet warriors.
Well, this part is pretty much true as I rarely play in a competitive game, especially when I am playing solo and get hammered against a stacked group. I think having the option to choose to play in only solo matches would help IMOP.
It’s a mishmash of steamrolls and tough fights, usually on maps that you checked no on the amazing new preferred maps system. Br1 will often see br2, br 2 will often see br3. Br 4 will very often see br5.
