Larger "Conquest" maps?

After nearly 80 hours spent in the game, I came to the conclusion that there is an itch that this game cannot scratch. When I started playing, I tended to be further out from the combat and used bolt action rifles to successfuly kill the enemy. I also tried to keep my soldiers alive. Not too long after I realised that the best way to win at this game is just to plow forward indefinitely until a CP is captured. It is just a meat grinder with the addition of bots that you kill or they get killed. Conquest consists of running in circles towards the enemy CP, Invasion consists of mindless rush towards the CP, while Assault (Assult in game, idk why the typo was not fixed yet…) has some width, but its a mix of Invasion and Conquest.

There is no “calm before the storm” moments in the game, it is always pushing, it is just noise without direction. There is always a plane in the air, always a tank on the ground, artillery coming in, grenades flying, to the point that arguably the sniper class is completely useless since the same can be done with normal rifles, engineer emplacements are worthless because everything moves so fast and can be destroyed so easily. There is no direction, no defending, no suspense. What I would kindly suggest is the following Conquest-type gamemodes:

I would very much like to see this kind of a setup in conquest form, even as a separate gamemode that has no progression. With the same ammount of players and vehicles as in Squads, so it doesnt tax the netcode, only change being slower capture timers. This means that tanks cannot just jump around or cover the whole map, airplanes must pick their targets for the run and infantry has to approach objectives in a different manner. As we are already playing on the whole map, just with the playfield reduced, this shouldn’t stress the performance any further, the only demanding task in this case is most likely the AI pathfinding.

I am wishing for a moment where I see flak tracers in the distance and have to walk for 3 minutes to attack the enemy AA position, or maybe come over a hill just to see the manor well defended with barbed wire and sandbags, and MGs in the windows. Plus rallies and transport would actually make a difference.

for semplicity i call your idea(offensive mode) a large map over 60 player divided in 2 squad of 30 battle in historical map like kursk or stalingrad(+ outskirt) now this is impossible to do with the current state of game if you have wiew we have moscow, berlin, normady, tunisi historical large battleground but in the game this battleground are small so if the dev want make your idea real they have to rebuild form the ash the actual map
ps
im not agnaist that from a RS2 RO2 player for me the entire game haw to be rebuild from scratch but if you place yourself in dev pants is hardly doing that after the ammount of work they do from the start

Larger Conquest maps… with the same annoying points that can easily be decapped… with the same stupid teammates that allow that to happen… Im afraid I cant back it because of how other people play the game. Sorry

would be nice to see 5 point conquest on the current conquest maps, there’s literal dead zones where nobody ever goes near by the sides of the maps

3 point just feels too… simple… its either commit to B or end up running back and forth from A to C the entire game re-capturing… there’s not really a push or pull or even a holding battle that goes on outside point B

Like Fort. District? No thanks.

Squads is a brainless mode (which is fun tho, but can be tiring), what you are looking for is exactly what lone fighters provide you. A more realistic mode, that you have to play with care and more conservative, use more the brain instead charging in and switch soldier when you die.

In my opinion, I dont like conquest for squads, its not that fun when you play it for a while, invasion is way better. I love yo play invasion in squads and conquest in lone fighters.

Lone fighters is exactly the same, only looks stupider and there is more tryhards just coming behind your back every two seconds. I like the grand scale battles in squads, but they keep going on for 10-30 minutes non-stop.
