a heavy cargo truck with a 100mm gun and dash mounted breda mg do to its fully exposed crew the truck would be better suited as an apc and twin gun config it should have its weird he that acts like hesh and heat rounds in low numbers tho if unable to serve as an apc it could be a fun event spg

Which is comparable to Chi Ha LG but that is a SPG instead of APC. And this thing has way more ammo than Chi Ha LG.
drivers still inside and the chi ha is still smaller and is more armored this is again a truck fully exposed fuel tanks ammo wheels transmission you could cripple it as infantry so much easier than a chi ha
also rear half of the lancia is wood its not even full metal so theres that
your aware the lancia cant shoot its main gun forward right it has to sit at odd angles to fire forward
That small armor advantage doesn’t really matter since Chi Ha LG has so little amount of ammo compare to it.
And Chi Ha LG don’t even have that wood.
Then just turn to the side, at least it still have a MG that can cover your front. Chi Ha LG doesn’t have a fully traversable turret and mg.
chis driver engine transmission and fuel is all internal the lancias dash breda is also exposed so it doesnt seem fair the chi ha can spin on the spot to cover itself while a truck has to do a sharp turn to try and travers the body and again ones a fully tracked armored vehicle with a gun mount the other is a heavy slow huge cargo truck
least as an apc the lancia can then retreat when its no longer combat able to act as a spawn instead of being a pure lost tank spawn
You are acting like these thing are that important in such vehicle, the first thing to do when encountering it is to shoot the gunner so it couldn’t fire back.
You are acting like that is a super hard stuff to achieve. If you hate that you still can first turn your vehicle behind cover then reverse it out. Using that way you can even quickly hide back to cover because you are going forward.
I guess that will be a skill issue if you think a 100mm armed vehicle with plenty of ammo is a pure lost.
one guy with a pistol can completly ruin the lancia the chi ha can still 1 man itself all wheeled vehicles can be immobilized by shooting out the transmission wich can be done with small arms the lancia much like the recently released sdkfz scout car are not good tank role candidates do to how insanely easy it is to lose everything your only defense is to look at 1 nation that historicaly has bad tanks and try and compare a tank to a truck
the chi ha is a long range last ditch anti ship platform the lancia is a short barreled low velocity mortar mounted to a delivery truck meant to bring some close range fire support
