Do you have Any evidence that there were only white men in combat? Iām aware of a non-trivial amount of colored troops that fought in the theaters, militaries, and times depicted in-game; and Iām wondering if you have information that specifically refutes that.
You donāt have to worry, Iām not one of those scary āsjwā libs trying to get black women punk rockers into the game, Iām just interested in history and the whitewashing thereof. I know that all the largest nationās involved were pretty wildly racist at the time, but it was a big war and they needed as many bodies as they could get.

And Londonā¦ most of the Blacks went to the R.A.F. You can also read, that black soldiers were uncommon and ācuriosā for the Whites within the Army. And if I remember correctly, most black dominated (at least Nigerian ones) were used in the Far East (especially Burma). At least their colonial Africans.

Sure, blacks in particular were segregated, but what about Indians, Hispanics, Asians, or Arabs? What about white guys with a tan? Are you suggesting that the only people allowed with a rifle had Lilly white skin? It was obviously the vast majority, so I think a small chance of some variety in skin color, where appropriate, would only improve things
Look at the names of American troops in game and there are plenty of ethnicities included but only one skin color. At the very least itās uninteresting to look at. Iād think wwii buffs would enjoy more historical diversity in a game, as itās essentially unheard of except in extreme examples like the much maligned bf5

3% of the US Military were Hispanics and like three divisions with hispanics only served in Italy and France (after D-Day).
While US troops dont even have their own faces and have to use recycled ones from the Russians.

And the name generator is a mess anyway. Many German names are not really (old-)German ones.

But what diversity? 3%? Who gives a crap about some 3% groups? Games are not here to honor sth. and people who really consider thatā¦ gosh. We have books, documentations, museums, or memorials for that.
