not really. it is bad for balance when you have tanks that are vastly OP compared to tier lower. it doesnt matter if it is KV1 vs german BR2 tanks or german BR4 tanks vs soviet BR3 tanks.
real solution would be to have ±0 MM, but with playerbase shrinking i dont believe we will ever get it.

We could always put the kv2’s back to br4 and then chance the queues to 1-2,2-3, 4, then 5.
Keeps the same amount of queues as we have now and then also gives br4 a chance to thrive but not letting them steamroll br3. However Germany needs more powerful br3 tanks in order for it to be balanced.

Ofc singular ques or even splitting br4 from 5 (or finally adding BR6 with larger playerbase) solve lots of issues.
Currently KV2 is the Tiger2 of BR3. Opressive, annoying, but at least slow as hell so easier to deal with.

kv2 replaces kv1 in the squad lineup.
this alone weakens the current soviet br3 players, as giving up the best br3 tank for an unreliable variance glass cannon makes winning against competent german teams much harder.
2 kv2s camping in the back line means youre up against 2 noobs who prevent your enemies having 2 active, more dangerous tanks. kv2s are very easy to panzerfaust from close up & easy to bomb if they hide somewhere, being slow & large as they are.

the main problem here, when a tank shoots first and penetrates it should win, otherwise you will feel like you did everything right - but still lost.
