KV I is still immune to TNT charges. I don’t care from armor and shit, this is plain, simple game logics: If I put a TNT charge on the roof of a tank it must go boom. There is no “if” and “when” it must explode on instance.
It is so damn embarrassing to cross the whole damn map just to see how the grayzone spammer KV I just roll off as if nothing happened after you put an TNT charge on it and throw your Explosive Pack in its roof.
Try putting two tnt charges on the sides of the tank chassis or turret
It’s only vulnerable to explosives like packs and tnt from the hatches on the hull.
Take a AT mine, put it behind it and shoot it (probably the explosion would kill you too or maybe only you), a safer option, trow a grenade in front so it would most likely try to avoid the grenade and go backwards stepping in the AT mine
Put it in that exact spot
or crouch, move forward while placing the tnt, then blow it up
You can explode the ammo by putting on back of turret if I recall.
This weakness present in many russian tank.
Otherwise put it near the engine/exhaust it may not exploderate it outright but can burn engine down to kill by fire. Gun down the crew when they leave, not a guarantee kill but better than doing effectively nothing.
I think it was the sword strike before placing the charge that weakened the hull for the blast to destroy it. ![]()
KV1 is a poor tank, he needs a cuirass atleast… Soviets suffer
Guys, you hired to reduce your reservation
right now, only beginners can have problems destroying the кв)
put TNT at the rear of the turret
KV-1 armor is currently bugged. Just put an explosion pack or AT mine under the tracks to destroy it. TNT works too, of course.
Brother if you NEVER want to experience that again ALWAYS regardless of the tank , use the dynamite bundle ( explosive pack) and put it UNDER the tank , always under , best from the rear but you can also access it from the front , alternatively you can throw it infront or behind the moving vehicle to where it’s going to be , IMPORTANT is it that you “cook” or hold the explosive for 4 seconds before you throw it so the tank does NOT have time to escape , if you just throw it without cooking it the tank driver has 6 seconds instead of 2 to drive away , it will always take the tank 1 second to realize someone’s throwing crap at his tank and if you cooked it for 4 seconds he then only has 2 seconds .
Throwing the explosive pack under the tank works everytime for EVERY tank , I almost never use my RpzBs anymore as this works better .
Good luck .
That won’t work once the bug is fixed. The KV-1 (and KV-2) have 35mm of bottom armor, so they can survive explosive packs (and AT mines) since those only have 35mm of penetration.
