loses duel vs knife users.
To be honest, I never seen that much of player runin with knife and be suicide most of the time, to gain at least 1 kill for Task
Why? It was really easy task, literally just shoot a guy and finish him with a knife…
Or just enter building with the knife…
its not hard but annoying and it encourages many to fool around rather then play the game.

I just finished all my squads in both US and GER side in Normandy and I can tell, that getting melee kills in Normandy campaign is pretty hard to do. Just a day before event with 30 melee kills I’ve had this Battle Pass task to kill 15 enemies with melee, oh boy… that was a journey. It took me some battles with only 1 or 2 kills per game and I was thinking about changing this task, but who knows if I would get something like “Win (number) battles in Lone Fighters”, that would be worse than melee kills as I only play SQUADS.
Why did I mention about Normandy? Because I just started to play Moscow campaign for both sides, and guess what… I was able yesterday to get 12 melee kills in just first battle in that campaign, this is way easier than in Normandy.
Maybe it’s just me that struggle to get melee kills in Normandy but I recommend everyone to try Moscow for this kind of task.
Moscow should be easier to run melee because everyone uses bolt actions due to the distance of engagement. It’s easier to run at someone with a bolt action than a ppsh…
not even need knife. shoot opponent to stomach with semi rifle and smash his skull with rifle stock
Fooling around sounds like playing a game. 
When with my fourth “life” zig-zagging through the bunker I reach the guy who is finally reloading…
…And a sneaky guy ruins the moment headshotting me from behind…
When i first met with “melee task” i used FG-42 on my soldiers 60-70%. I though i could shot them to make them wounderd/downed, but the enemy just ripped apart, limbs and guts tears apart from 1-2 shot Surprising view it was
It is fun with bayonets in Berlin. Especially if you have 9 riflemen squad.

According to lots of chat group members opinion, they dislike this too.
Why kill anyone with melee if I already massive deployed automatic weapons? (the real OP MG42 and FG42)
I just directly bought it with gold.
Yeah, i dont really get it, i just lie there i cant do anything and they switch to knife and use that, instead of one shot from theyr weapon or buttstock melle. They just lose precious seconds on doing that and lot of time my teammates kill them before they can finish.
Are those people sick or something they have to do that?
The Task is skippable correct? you only need 8 out of 15 task to complete the event. Or am I misinformed?
Yeah, its not mandatory to complete this task.

Pity there was not a helpfull task like " Mark 100 enemies"
I’m sure most players don’t know how to do this. Maybe this would get players into a very helpful habit
