The devs should add something there. Easiest option would be kp 31 sjr since it is fully implemented in editor but if they want they can add something else. Japan also needs br 5 smg
Given how we have numerous Finnish weapons (Suomi KP 26 and 31, LS 26, Finnish mosin) and the one BP panzer 4 skin, I think Finnish content is considered good for the Axis tree
This guy liked my suggestion to move M1928A1 to BR4 then suggests to move Király to BR5 within the same hour.

Part of me wants to leave enough stuff for the Fins to get their own tree, but it would be pretty barren, only about a single unlock per equipment type per tier/BR.
At the same time, if it was all added o the Axis tree, we would probably only see Finnish gear in BR 5 axis loadouts.

Well fins skins are in the Axis faction and Itally also so I don’t see why SIG MKMO cant be but Japan can also have its unique version of this gun

Hungary had at least one as well since it was tested alongside many other SMGs just before 39M’s adoption.

Interwar Swiss SMG developed by SIG, Gotthard End and Pál Király who went on to create the Király 39M SMG which was adopted by Hungary and is in the game.
The two weapons are similar to eachother though the Swiss gun had many more variants despite being commercially unsuccessful and having low production numbers.

BR5 smgs are valid weapons. As I really am not aware that vehicle crews, APC drivers or guerrillas can use Assault rifles.

I meant like SMGs that are BR V. I still use the MP40 at all BRs.

The Axis have no BRV TT SMG. In that point they have moved away from SMGs and to Assault Rifles but using SMGs is still a valid strategy, depending on the gun used of course.

For the most part, I hardly use SMG’s in any of my BR V lineups, I use mostly Semi and Assault rifles.
I use zero German SMG’s other then the Conders MG. I have some BP assaulter squads, but I opted for the secondary weapon and armed them with Conders MG and Stg 44’s. I also use three sniper squads, however they use the Sniper Stg44 with the scope removed, so they are essentially three additional assaulter squads. I HAVE ZERO KIRALY’S in any of my squads.
With Allies, my lineup is almost entirely T-20’s, M2 Carbines and the few Assaulters I have use the Thompson Prohibition, or the BP M2 Carbine. I use three nine man rifle squads all toting T-20’s.
Soviets I use two AS-44 squads, two MG squads and a have couple SMG squads (Thompson and PPsh) but I rarely use them. Add in a sniper squad with scope removed along with one flamethrower squad which uses the RMN-50, and two flame throwers.
I don’t have a Japanese BR V lineup.

The Kiraly is a Hungarian SMG. I’m a German Tank Destroyer. We’re 2 very different things. I don’t even use the Kiraly as I only use Italian stuff in Italian squads and German stuff in German squads at BR II and III. So if you’re trying to say I’m biased, drop it.
