Not going to say this is cheating/hacking or a bug, as I don’t know - just something I wondered if anyone else was seeing.
I’ll often get killed out of nowhere and a player is highlighted on kill cam with no line of sight. Often not even close and with multiple walls/buildings seemingly in the way.
I originally thought maybe it was artillery, and it was highlighting the player who called it - but it has also happened while I’m indoors.
Anyone have any thoughts?

So it could be showing me the player controlled soldier, even though another in his squad got the actual kill?
I get that as well.
Not sure what to make of it.
Ok know how you will lay down when shot and bleed out? Well whoever made you start to bleed out will ALWAYS be credited for thr kill even if someone else runs and finishes you off.
What you’re seeing is someone who made you go down, walked behind a wall or something and someone else finished you off. The kill cam shows you who got credit for the kill, not the actual person that put the last bullet in you.
Didn’t they change it?
* Previously, the camera after death would show the enemy that did the most damage to you. Now it will show the killer himself.

Some rounds can penetrate the walls. Some machine guns can penetrate the wooden walls. Also, not sure if you know, but remember, all the buildings next to each other often have a line of sight via windows and doors. Kill cam will show you a building that’s between you and your shooter, but it won’t show you whether he saw you through a window or open door.
Such spots are favorite of top tier snipers, because they require you to shoot while on your feet and often moving.
