Guys, Keyboard support needs to be added soon as possible. Having cross play is a huge bonus for this game however I’d like to use that instead of using controller, I don’t like aim assist as it kills immersion and not using it puts me at a disadvantage versus pc.

M&K support is pointless for consoles. It’s a PC peripheral for a reason.
NOW, devs definitely need to evaluate the leaning option for controllers. Mappable buttons/paddles should be 100% customizable as to provide the capability to lean when you don’t have 8million keys at your disposal. Just don’t be surprised if M&K support for consoles isn’t developed soon, or poorly optimized if it does drop.
Poorly optimised? You obviously don’t own a series x. Mouse and keyboard support exists on many games already with great implementation. For example call of duty.
Also, allowing for cross play and then not allowing m&k just doesn’t make much sense. It would be good is they could just streamline the experience and allow for the user to decide what input they use. I’m sure pc is allowed to use a controller no? Why can’t it be the other way round.

Funny enough I’ve got a Series X. I can promise you M&K on that isn’t the same quality as on my PC. Plus, COD has been a AAA title for how many years? Poor comparison I think. I’m not going to continue a repetitive argument, but my point is that it’s a back burner priority for a game that still needs much improvement.
Will it be added eventually? Possibly with the amount of people requesting it, but it’s a goofy capability. Guess Microsoft should start including M&K with consoles now instead of controllers.
Not pre-ordering an X is my biggest gaming regret. Maybe by next year they will be available.
