When exactly did I say that I´m regularly commiting to kamikaze attacks? Right… I didn´t.
Good players have already gained experience in certain game so they don´t do that anymore. New “noob” players are still doing that while learning the game and following your elitist “gitting gud” statement. But until they get there, they are going to be punished and blocked from using the plane for an entire battle? What kind of screwed up logic is that.
I ram the ground very rarely now when I got used on controls, environment and behaviour of the plane (all discussed above… you should read all that stuff, maybe it will help you too, to crash less). But until I got there, I was crashing to the ground like an idiot. The point is, I was able to learn from it and try again without waiting until the next battle (that can take from 20 to 45 minutes…yep, had those too), and slowly learned from different situations. That is something your draconic suggestion denies to players. Because by what you suggested, you are essentially saying “be good, or f*ck off.” Which quite frankly most new players will do.
That will lead to even more uncontested sky with whales carpet bombing the map (because they have ability to spawn more planes, thus learn faster) and forum being full of people crying about OP planes.
oh i’ll probably open a secret, but, pss, noobs get punished often and for multiple reasons including gameplay and rules, and much of them still behave like fools through years. this is what people like in free2die online shooters. this is not reason to “have mercy” for those who don’t want to play adequate. and second secret-flies are to buff at least 2 times more- it’s about ugly visibility and not less ugly controls. when they get it and probably some missile damage buff, wil they suffer any little? idts
They do, and they already are so there is no point in escalating it further. Thus, that suggestion was pointless.
I´m not being merciful, they already are punished as part of intentional kamikaze attacks prevention and I´m fine with that. Denying kills to kamikazing pilots reduced numbers of people who just slam into to ground quite a lot. All or most that is left are people who are still learning, or desperate to help securing victory on the last moments.
I can´t really translate this into anything meaningful. Are you trying to say that render distance for planes should be a bit higher? I agree and in fact made suggestion about it even back in the alpha days… alas nothing came out of it.
Controls weren´t actually so bad before this update, at least no more complicated than in WT (you need to take into consideration your speed, rudder locking up, flaps, energy at which you can turn the best, all that stuff), so it is only matter of time to get used on, no need to make it easier…
No missiles, this is WW2, not cold war. But if you meant rockets, then it is more about what kind of rocket each plane uses which is another thing pilot needs to learn to work with, I´m not a fan of magically changing properties of rockets that were used (except for BF 110 in Normandy… those rockets are almost a mini nukes).
for me everything that takes some “freedom” is pointless in face of balance and gameplay and it’s ugly and scuffed. yes i mean rockets and they are ugly if you don’t shoot few squads of infantry staying in diameter of few meters. for rbs it’s superactual. they are also useless against tanks
There are different rockets in the game, some kill tanks easier than others.
You can be a top pilot and still clip a tree.
Kamikaze don’t get scores, if someone was precise enough to kamikaze your tank, he could have pulled out with enough experience.
Even on 2k displays you get about 1-2 seconds to aim at the tank, assuming you are already pointing roughly at its location. There isn’t much margin for error left, unless you are flying a bi-plane.
