I would hope a seasoned player would develop game acronyms list, such as SMG (sub machine gun), GG (good game) for all the idiots like me that don’t have a clue as to what they mean. Does someone have a link for learning? Don’t be too hard on me … see ya on the battlefield!

Acronyms are like words… You’ll eventually pick up on them… Especially if you google them. 
Do note that, as soon as you go into firearms terminology… Well, everything is made up and everything has 117 asterisks with additional context to apply to it… People arguing on the topic are usually perfect examples of the Dunning-Kruger Effect.
