Ordering soldiers to certain points (by pretty x) is very buggy, it either doesn’t work or places it somewhere in front of me.
I think that the squad ordering system needs an entire rework and also like other people have mentioned add more useful stuff like building spawn points.

I also remembered a topic where they were discussing adding neutral (only shoot back when attacked first), passive (doesn’t shoot at all) and aggressive (shoots at everything) options to the squad ages ago but it hasn’t been addressed in a while.

At the moment bots are just extra lives, it doesn’t feel like “leading a squad”.

TL:DR: Squad ordering needs to be reworked and more accessible, not buggy and more functions for bots.

There’s certainly a lot of room for improvement… also in the behavior when engaging the enemy or the irratic back and forth running like some confused person.

With lone fighters gone the devs really need to give that some priority. Lets just hope they see it the same way. But if until that moment anyone has some advice on how to babysit your troops properly: be my guest.
