July 10 to October 31, 1940 The air war, known as the Battle of Britain, ends in defeat for Nazi Germany

I wonder if we’re going to have an event later about this date? And are we going to get some MISERABLE PLANE?

If we do get an event, I think it’ll just be some decals for planes. Or, if we do get planes, then the allies one will be Overpowered and the axis one bad but better then TT

Seems to me that developers are focusing on battle of Italy events, I suspect that the next campaign might be set in Italy.

Here’s hoping!

I’m not sure which planes could be added at this point, as I’m pretty sure we already have the planes from this battle in the game, well the decent and most prominent ones at least. Correct me if I’m wrong though.

Well we could get an Polish, Czech, or Canada fighter squad, they did play an important role in the battle

Yeah, that’s fair. But they’d still be using existing planes (Hurricanes and Spitfires). I’m pretty sure we have the Blenheim in-game, but they could add the Boulton and the Gladiator (though both were well out-classed in action) if they were to add more pilot squads.

Well, they could add planes from the later years or biplanes like the Gladiator Mk IIF, which would be interesting since there are no British biplanes ingame afaik.
Given that the Independence Day gave us Nepali knives as rewards, it aint far-fetched.

it would be nice to have plane special event. Any early war/niche plane for both sides could work for small event

I’d like to see some more spitfire variants… though I’d like to see them more in the TT than an event.

Well you are wrong we dont have Boulton Paul Defiant. The Boulton Paul Defiant was designed with a dual-purpose specification that included a light bombing capability. It could carry a maximum bomb load of up to 500 pounds, typically configured as two 250-pound bombs (one under each wing)

And it has AA gun literally on its back so yeah you are very wrong

No. 307 “Lwów” Squadron will be nice.

And :

G.50 AS serie 7 | War Thunder Wiki

for Italy but a squad with Polish pilot or a French one for the allies will be appreciated

I’ll refer you to my next comment in the thread… :no_good_man:

It did have a turret on its back, but no forward-firing capability, which made it vulnerable to enemy fighters, and was used primarily as a training aircraft and search and rescue. It did see some action in the Battle of Britain though, albeit in small operations.

The Gladiator was simply obsolete by the time of the Battle of Britain, and wasn’t used in the battle in any effective capacity, though it saw action in Malta and Greece.

It was in reality absolutely terrible aircraft however in Enlisted is a different story Su-2 is not bad at all but in war thunder I’m not touching it here this type of aircrafts are good and fun to play so Defiant at BR I as a ground attacker with bombs will be actually not bad with 2x250-pound bombs since we don’t have lower BR ground attacker for UK this one will do.But I wont mind also Blackburn Skua:
Blackburn Skua

We need some lower BR ground attacker for UK.

Canadian Mozzie, please.
