It totally depends on what time of day you’re playing, and on what server, and the subject comes up an awful lot, a North American server in the a.m. the Japanese tend win mostly, in the afternoons and evening, it’s usually the Americans that win.
And when it first came out, the Americans were stomping the Japanese all the time everywhere.
As noted above, I really do believe it’s a player base issue.

What bothers me is that ppl tend to mix together balance
in terms of weapon/equipment/tanks/planes and balance
and
in terms of what faction the majority of all players (especially veterans) tend to play at the moment
Weaponwise I find the Pacific pretty balanced overall.
Not so much the quality of players queing for Allies or Axis.

Personally i find Axis more fun and I enjoy their weapon arsenal a lot more.
On the other hand: if I would go one-on-one with my self, Allies-Forlorn would eventually destroy Axis-forlorn.
