I would like to see a button to join any campaign. Sometimes I don’t know what campaign I want to play; I just want to enter games fast - or I want to work on progress across all campaigns. This button could be placed next to the Join any team button.
It could be set up like this (for an example):
Any Campaign Enabled / Any Team Enabled: Will join any campaign with any faction.
Any Campaign Enabled / Any Team Disabled: Will join any campaign with the faction (Axis or Allies) that you have selected.
Any Campaign Disabled / Any Team Enabled: Will join the campaign you have selected, with any faction.
Any Campaign Disabled / Any Team Disabled: Will join the campaign and faction you have selected.
Good luck playing mostly with bot teams against full human squads.
Such a button would be good to finally balance matches but at first you would need to motivate players to use it so let say 20-25% XP boost seems fair for the one who wants to balance uneven teams.
It has been suggested often and would actually solve many balance problems in game. They only need to give something like +25% xp as bonus for having the option set “on”
I supposed the Join Any Team button could have a 10% exp bonus if enabled, and the Join Any Campaign button have a 15% exp bonus if enabled. If both are enabled then it would give the player a 25% exp bonus. That way it will entice players who are grinding to fill games that need players on certain campaigns/factions.
Heroes and Generals tried this. Over time this becomes sort of irrelevant as you just want to play a specific side to get a specific unlock. Personally, I’m already forgetting whom I was training where by playing which ever campaign/side is given by tasks. Having separate progression for separate campaigns in separate windows, now feels a bit like it was a mistake, imho.
How would this affect you though? It is a toggle button. If you or anyone have issues grasping the complexity of the progression system, you don’t have to enable it. For those that would like a bonus for filling game factions/campaigns that are unpopular, can.
