You might have misunderstood something. When I said random, I meant assigning eligible teams to modes that correspond to historical battles of World War II, not prohibiting certain teams from participating in historical battles.
I just played 4 games with “join any” on BR3, all 4 were Germany, 3/4 were complete steamroll of the German team 
You steamrolled them or you got Germany 4 times and got steamrolled by them? The second one is what I experience on a daily basis. It does not matter how good I do. Its almost always a loss. No rallies, no awareness, no getting on the cap. The one that really burns me seeing pilots on the bottom of the scoreboard doing nothing. If you are in a plane you better be doing a lot! Air superiority and ground support. If you can’t do those two things do not get in a plane! Speaking of, the hitbox on planes seems to have changed I am shooting through people with direct hits and have seen it happen a lot over the past few days. I thought I was going crazy until my neighbor watching me play pointed out the same thing. I know different planes have different fire methods center versus wings that are point of fire 300m out.
Germany got shanked 3/4 times.

So you see exactly what I am seeing and I am saying its not random but by design. I have a far higher win rate not choosing Join any. It is like the are playing the game of Illusion of choice! Ohh if I pick option B I can get 30% more by winning. Do you really think these people program things to benefit you getting 30% of something they do not want to give away? Or do you think they will win no matter what option you choose?
