Few suggested improvements for Japanese tanks in general, since IMO they are lacking compared to their counterparts in the same BRs (in both firepower and armament). I know a lot of these have been mentioned before on the forum, so I apologize for any redundancy but I also would appreciate your input. Also apologize if I’m screwing up the formatting or rules here, just joined the forum today.
Machine gun problem: Japan’s tanks are significantly limited by not only lacking coaxial MGs, but also by the fact that the hull MG can only fire 20 rounds before needing to be reloaded. This really limits anti-infantry capabilities. A few suggested changes below, any of which could be helpful in balancing:

Improve reload speed of the type 97 tank MGs

Make the hull MG able to be fired from the gunner position rather than having to solely use the commander spot or the MG spot. This would be especially helpful for tanks with only a gunner position rather than commander, like the ha-go, which currently requires you to swap seats just to fire the MG.
(I understand this may contentious, but I don’t see why it should be given the T-28 is able to fire both hill tower MGs from the gunner spot, why not make this the norm for Japan tanks) -
Improve the zoom of the MG so it actually makes sense to swap to this position occasionally. At least make the zoomed accuracy and range a strength of the type 97 if it’s not the magazine capacity or the flexibility a coax allows.

Fix the bug/issue where if you lose a commander or loader the MG spot will actually fill and prioritize the loader or commander position rather than constantly swapping back. Currently you’re screwed if you lose either of the positions.
