Japan needs min squad parity with other nations by having 2 of each class. 2 Paras, 2 Mortars, etc

Japan is handclapped by being limited to 1 each of two critical squad types. It limits them to one complete BR missing basic functionality of every other nation. This allows for players to have 2 set lineups on every nation. When it comes to Japan the Squad presets are pointless.

  • Every nation should have at least 2 specialized squads Mortar, Para, Transport, Medic
  • No one plays Japan so it is not a priority to make them competitive.

Mortars and Paras

The para is the least effective of all nations at BR1

Japan has the least squads because it had the least campaigns and smallest tech tree
Unless Germany wants to donate development time
Or we get some day after volunteers

Least amount of units and campaigns but it still has three theatres. Burma (Love that one, amazing job on the details) Alligator creek, Far East Ussr. Every nation should have two core squads. The main ones like machine guns, mortars, paras, flamers, transports, engineers, It allows 2 distinct choices for loadouts. I play 1 and 5. My other nations have 3+ Germany is crazy you can have 5 BRs.

now, most factions got most squads pre merg
My point is I am not willing for all faction to loose development time equally
They either need to increase investment in the game
Or steal development time from Germany to give Japan more time
Also most factions have a sub faction uk italy
So yes if Germany is volunteering it’s dev tone go ahead
But the allies refuse to donate resources to the axis

Certainly, the only way to have more than one type of Japanese squad is by unlocking the entire tech tree, but even then, it’s often not enough; with the others, for example, you can practically field three Assault/machine gun /tank squads presets for every two BR . It would be good to have more AT squads and engineers; even though Japan doesn’t have a sub-faction, they could still introduce more squads based on its military branches I mention this because the Imperial Navy and Imperial Army really “loved” each other.

Squads of Thai, Korean, and Chinese troops would also be an option; I had heard about Chinese units that specialized in jungle warfare.
