Backstory
Jacob C Vouza was born in Tasimboko in the Solomon Islands in 1892. In 1916, he join the Solomon Islands Protectorate Armed Constabulary and retired in 1941, although it would be short, cause in 1942, he volunteered to serve has a coastal watcher when the Japanese took over. Later that year on August 7th, He would save a down U.S. pilot and help escort him to the Marines where he joined as a scout for them. On August 27th, he was captured and was tortured for information, which he refused to give, as a result, he was tied to a tree and was left for dead, but, he chew through his bings and when to the Marines lines and informed them of the incoming Japanese.

After the war, he continued to wore his Marines uniform and was buried in it.
