WTF who’s idea to put engineer squad at CAMP LV9?
Now, the match experience is actually better for “free” players. They dont have engineers. Thus, they dont have to think so much and wasting time to detour and find a good place to build spawn point.
For >80% of matches I played after Tunis CBT phase 2. It’s always me, the only one in the team have engineers.
And because this happens so often, that it makes me give up the opportunity of using tank, and squads I want to level up. I have to spawn as a infantry squad first to make sure we have a spawn point. Premium squads? They are a joke. There’s a great chance of stuck your motorcycle by something, and it use vehicle spawn point–much further than infantry.
Just because I want to play freely so I hardly ever play together with my friends. Thus, never able to get a good team. If I give up building spawn point, the team than just refuse to get into the sector.
This is because gaijin is smoking some weird shit and decided that you know every campaign has engineer unlock on level 3c let’s make it level 9 on top of that it feels like we are short one squad slot as well since in other campaigns you can take a tank and a plane on top of 5 infantry squads (with premium) but in tunisia its 4 if you want to take the plane and tank with it
Dude be patient. For some reason the engineer squad unlocks much later than other campaigns in Tunisia. So… other players might simply NOT have the means to build spawn points at all. It’s a very fresh campaign you know…
Honestly doesn’t make any sense that the engineer squad is at level 9 should be at level 3 like the rest of the campaigns as they are imperative for good teamwork, maintaining good momentum while attacking and useful when defending due to there ammo crates, spawn point, AA/AT and buildable cover.
So please developers of enlisted make engineers unlockable at level 3 as they are such an important unit on the battlefield.
yea sadly that is true people don’t bother placing anything useful that’s going to help the team in the long run they either just mindlessly run at the enemy, sit at the back sniping or just don’t give a feck about the rest of the team.
Mostly i seem to be the only one placing spawn points, ammo crates and other useful stuff.
i try to do this as well but i simply give up on building anything and just try to get as much score as possible if i see my team just hillcamping in some of the maps in tunisia campaign
I always do it even if my team is hill camping and then try and give them encouragement. Sometimes people just need direction and then eventually they will follow
Was thinking about creating a thread to recruit more engineers this morning LOL. I played a game with all real players and not a single teammate helped out in the engineering front. Honestly, second place feels good knowing I supported the victory with logistics
Engineers make this game shine. I have a hard time even playing a squad until I unlock that first engineer. I feel they are my squad leaders in each of the squads and are what make this game dynamic with their rally points.
I’m curious why they put them at 9. Why would they limit this major dynamic in the game?
Also, only 2 vehicles in Tunisia? I was hoping at least 4 per side as North Africa was heavily mechanized, with a better range of vehicles…
Motorized Inf is new and the way how they work (I heard rumors that the free bike sticks to two drivers) I doubt that they ate goint to be mainstream.
I used my premium bike squads due the lack of engineers and rn only if I wanna build MGs or a beacon behind the lines. Using it as MG is pretty risky and with the massive amount of sniper fuckers you will most likely get shot in seconds.
Motorized infantry should be in Armored personnel carriers… They could have even had them be roving spawn points; however, it looks like we just got the same old mechanics, a reset on progression, on new maps, with lack luster equipment…
Hard pass; however, I’m giving it a chance with the bonus exp. Once that wears off, I’ll be going back to Normandy.
Also, P-38E?? Wtf, we should have the F at least and where is our Franz in Desert camo? It’s even in War Thunder…

Since i have unlocked the engi squad i have played idk like close to 30 matches, in only 1 of those matches did someone else build something other than me,
AND its not only the engi being lvl 9 problem but players themselves, i have seen people with thompsons, machine guns etc , the stuff that`s way above lvl 9, still no one uses the engineer.
thompson is on the premium motorcycle squad and the machine gun would be either the BAR or the Piece of garbage breda model 30, the mg34 or 42 are natural spawned defense emplacement or build ones.
