It’s been about 2 maybe 3 weeks since last update, I know they were taking a break but with how things are atm, I can’t imagine it was more then a week.
I’m hopeful we will see a major update soon judging from what we know: It will bring B.R 5 japan, And Tiger 2 killers for the allies.
I always think optimistically
Adding the BR5 to IJA is a big challenge, and it cannot be accomplished by adding just one tank.
In fact, it is very difficult to fill BR4 with the current IJA weapons. I don’t think junk such as Type 4 semi-automatic rifles, NATO, and CHI-NU are worthy of BR4.
So if they want to add BR5 to IJA and try to make it playable…DF may need to dig up some very “sci-fi” blueprint weapons. These weapons that everyone is not familiar with will definitely take a lot of time to make. , to balance, to match the corresponding actions
Maybe they will also give BR5 IJA a new map, I hope it’s Iwo Jima
If that’s the case, it’s worth updating a little slower.
Hopefully the immersion breaking bugs, what dev don’t appreciate is they give us long events which means 10games per level, which in turn means we notice more of the annoying bugs, which put us off playing.
Stretchy soldiers, some tail gunners not working, invisible walls in Berlin, Grant commander not able to fire main gun. Not to mention customization bugs!
I mean I reported on CBR 5 bugs in 1 day.
There is no excuse this game has been going 3 years, as for content, we will likely get Pershing, super Pershing will obviously be premium though. As for BR5 IJA not sure one tank will make a difference, it will become sci-fi.
Also if they don’t give axis lo level paras I may take a break as it’s not fun not having a counter to soviet in low tier. I don’t want to play Berlin on high Tier constantly either.
I doubt they are working in significant amount rn.
You think it’s still holidays for Russia?
I don’t know. But forum and CBR seems pretty dead. At least in the matter of staff side and so.
And we haven’t got any small bug fix updates iirc.
Maybe our fellow CM can confirm, team back or not.
@James_Grove Hello mate, are the Devs back in or on Russia holiday time? CBR is bloated no bug fixes this year, there are balancing suggestions which you asked for, but nothing acknowledged (low tier axis paras for example)
Well, cbr already started to work, you could seen it today already on few posts.
About other things i can’t tell much, but we already preparing some stuff.
