Items for devs to address

If the devs could PLEASE add these to the next patch before another update is put in place:

  1. Inability to kill soldiers manning AT and AA guns along with driving crew of opentop vehicles. The only way to kill them is by throwing an explosive pack that they can ironically see, dismount, throw back at you AND shoot you before you can even draw you weapon after throwing it. - FIXED

  2. Flames on the battlefield should not cause you to burst into flames from running past them or being 5 feet away…most uniforms were wool or a blend and flame retardant…but my soldiers seem to ingnite like they are made out of paper mache douced in gasoline.

  3. Reloading an empty magazine…I still don’t get how this happens.

  4. People with secondary weapon slots should NOT start t with their secondary weapon…it ALWAYS happens…that includes AT.

  5. When someone dies in my Assaulter squad, it ALWAYS defaults to my Engineer no matter where they are on the bf or what position they are in the squad. It should automatically default to the next group specialty, in this case another Assaulter.

  6. A new algorithm needs made for match making…at the start of a new BP, I get defending 80% of the time no matter if it is Assault, Destruction or plain Attack /Defend…for a while afterward. Probability dictates there should be more attacks…yet there never is.

  7. AI should try to follow the path you take. If I climb through a window, they should follow and not run around the building in harms way looking for a door. Same when I switch to a soldier and they decided to run off into the middle of the enemy.

I forgot to add:

  1. TNT that is placed but won’t detonate…happens occasionally.

Anyone with items to add? It might be easier if it is all in one place.

  1. When a soldier dies while carrying a bazooka, someone from his squad could pick it up.

I have been complaining about this for quite a while. It seems like if I am anywhere within a few meters of a fire I ignite. My soldier ignites at times when the fire is in another room, or the fire is outside the room and one floor below. My dude couldn’t even light a campfire or a charchol barbecue grill without igniting. This needs fixed.

I have also complained about jumping from my plane, landing and the first weapon in my dudes hand is always his AP mine, which sucks if an enemy is close by and your dead before you can change to your primary weapon.

About the bots, I am definitely no stranger to bot bitching. It is mind boggling how many AI bots I lose from each squad just to sheer bot stupidity. They will not stay where ordered. They will not use the same path you use, as I will use a back room window and every dumbass bot will run around to use the front door. They will not even attempt to keep up as you traverse the battlefield. Mine are always at least 50 meters behind me, and if I have a fast soldier they can be 50-100 meters. Bots when ordered to be passive should NOT be engaging the enemy, they should just bust their ass to get to where you are, or where you have ordered them to be. Bots should MIRROR the user. They run when you run, lay down when you lay down (they already do this), get in a trench when you get in a trench and stay where the hell you order them. I shouldn’t order six bots to stay in a room, two stay but stand in front of the door or window, two go outside and one or two will head for the roof. It doesn’t matter my squad size as I am going to lose 70-80% of them due to either disobeying orders, or just sheer stupidity. An Enlisted AI bot squad has the combined IQ of a bag of wet potato’s, and that is being generous. :wink:

The new one I have found:

  1. When face-to-face with an eneny and my gun is drawn, I shoot through the enemy to whatever is behind them…even if it is an entire SMG mag. They seem unkillable if within a foot or 2.

  1. Apcs and open top vehicles have broken hitboxes that doesnt allow u to shoot directly to crew even tho they dont have anything that protects them basically a invisible wall

Yeah, I have shot bots point blank with my shot gun (51 damage), only to be bayonetted a couple seconds later and didn’t put a scratch on the bot.
