So lots of people have been talking about putting Italy in Tunisia and while I don’t think its a bad idea, I think a Greece campaign would be better.
It would be the Italians vs the British. The Italians would use the carcano as their main rifle, they could have the berretta M1918 for a submachine gun, and the Breda 30 for a machine gun. They would also have some German weapons. The battles would be in mountains or maybe in some major Greek cities and Crete.
Okay so you can’t actually edit things so maybe they could add a parachuting spawn point for Crete or something.
Italians in Greece would be vs Greeks, not Britain, Britan was there only after German invasion to Balkans.
And Italians have enough weapons on theyr own and dont need German weapons as they didn’t used theyr small arms.
While I think it’s a nice idea there is an issue here
It will take a lot of time for devs to implement Greece, it will take them 2 years or even more
Tunisia is a campaign that is already been worked on and will add Germany for the 4th time.
They did use some German guns but it was more common to see Germans armed with Italian SMG instead
Don’t really remember they used any tbh. Never seen any photo or info they used German small arms. As it would be logistical nightmare, they had it already with theyr 6,5mm and 7,35mm ammo.
Only small arms i know they used from Germans is AT rifles.
They used some German stuff. They also used German engines for their planes, as the Germans could not produce enough the italian air force was essentially useless

[/quote] Your right but I thought adding the Greek army would take some time
Your right it would take them a while to add it in
Just making ideas for future campaigns
I was talking about small arms. I even stated it in my comment.
They used Stukas and Bf 109, and engines for theyr planes, i know. They even used Panzer III, Panzer IV and Stug III in one of theyr division.
Italy license-built German INLINE engines for their planes because they were already war-proven, powerful and better than the contemporary Italian inline engine designs.
Italian planes also started equipping German 20mm.
Other than that, Italian warplane designs were generally good in terms of airframes.
Also, production numbers were low due to obviously inferior industrial capability compared to Germany.
