HISTORY
During 1942, the Regia Aeronautica required a defence fighter to provide a defence against bombers accelerating the advance of Allied troops into Italy. The SM.91 was created, a twin-engine fighter with DB 601 engines, armed with six 20 mm MG 151s up front and a turret equipped with a 20 mm MG 151 controlled by the gunner. 2 were created, taking flight for the first time on 11 May 1943, and achieved 27 hours of flight time but never entered official evaluations. One was captured by the Germans, while the other was destroyed by Allied bombing raids.

It should be in game because we haven’t many Italian planes
why?..because the majority of voters realise its not a BR 5 plane? USSR alone has 6x100kg Bombs on 3 different aircraft at BR 2 and 3. (or 4 bombs plus 4-8 rockets on 2 others)
20mm cannons are pretty insignificant to anyone on the ground.
In warthunder same BR as Whirlwind, mosquito and XA-38 for Allied reference (which Allies already have at BR 3)
BR 3 is the obvious choice for how things are presently. Adding my vote
How in any way are polls for players who have faction preferences not bias? People will never vote yes for something that’s good for the opposing side, or will always vote yes for something that gives them the edge. Large majority will never vote to place something as a premium squad because no one wants to pay for things.
20mm cannons may not be great for killing infantry but are the best armament for killing planes reliably after accounting for velocity and rate of fire. Now add 6 nose mounted 20mm cannons (which are better than wing mounted) with 300rds each (which is an absurd amount), you don’t even have to aim and be very precise to destroy an enemy aircraft. Ontop of all that it has a 20mm defensive gun in the back when most others are 7mm guns, it’s going to be extremely easy to fight off enemies on your ass. The cherry ontop is 6, 250lb bombs.
I would take that over a grizzly any day of the week. There’s no comparison. The whirlwind and mosquito are even worse.
Not to mention the good turn time it will have. War thunder says 20, but we know that’s not the instant turn time like enlisted shows. The fiat g55 in warthunder is also 20 seconds but has a sub 16 second turn time here. Assuming it would be something similar.
