I have took part in 3 battles to use Soviet Red Army to fight against Japan in BRV, 3 assult battle, totally caputred 2 control points.
When I figtht against German Wehrmacht, sometimes I still win the battle.

German and Soviet arsenal got their advantages differently, but it’s semi-balanced on most maps. BRV Japan weapons are similar to German with better auto rifle and tank, and that advantage is well utilized by its players, but the lack of fine (only “fine”, not advantageous or “overpowered” in some opinions Sov ones) SMGs and assault rifles is worse comparing to German, and only having a strange BRV MG.
And it is worsened by “bad player base” and especially those who brings low BR weapons and vehicles to BRV. For Mosin Snipers they use never being advantageous comparing to other factions’ option.
And if all players are not familiar with the map, it’s usually better for defenders.
Soloing as br3 Japan against Russia has been miserable. Worst experience I’ve had on Enlisted. Worse than playing as Tunisia Axis, Berlin Allies and Normandy Axis during the campaign system.

Similar problem. Sov BR3 got better close-quarter firepower and tank with PPsh and KV, while the situation reversed on BRV with Type Hei and Ho-Ri.
With body armor Type Hei is always a 2 shot weapon - incredibly unfair as you are just so much better off with the AVT40(20). I’ve had quite some times where my bots survive random shots, or even direct encounters where I won a fight purely because of body armor or where I lost it purely because of body armor
Ho-Ri is a case of the Soviet TT tanks just being ass. T-44-100 would be so great to have

Yeah mainly I use the arisaka in br3 and it one taps through body armor
Yeah it’s hard because soviet players are extremely bad
This is their only problem

Mark my words - I am going to carry the Soviet player base, I am done with them getting OP gear because they cant play the game.
Winning with Soviets for balance sake - the ultimate sacrifice.
Edit* okay sounded ridiculous - as if I alone could carry an entire faction, but hey, its the spirit that counts!

Funny thing is that I havent been able to play against japan even once as every time I tried with USSR BR 5 I got germany instead. (like about 20 matches which I have deserted just to try again).
Only time I was able to play soviet vs japan was with japan.
And You forgot to add here:

Ahhh the day soviets get to know how OP they actually are they would scream to get nerfed since is not fun to play basically a PVE gamemode…
Maybe brain perk would suit perfectly for them at this point:

Yes and now i’m against T-44 -100 You can’t understand how sad was seeing the japanese tanks run when they Saw My Kv-1 cannon
Most close thing to it is like aimimg a Heavy machine gun with high explosive bullets to a helpless child
