and my BR2 USA forces are keep going into Normandy maps.

Yeah there new update that is supposed to display the possible maps doesn’t take into account the modification made since with the large last update. Even the bulge is not displayed regardless of the BR…
I sincerely don’t understand why BR 1-2 now goes to Normandy and Ardennes, that wasn’t the case when the Merge launched

Presumably so that new players can also access it.
Imagine locking one of the most popular WW2 settings behind a 50 hour grind.
That’s how Berlin is though.
And I now cringe when I see super early war tanks like A13 vs Pz 38t with Seagull in the air in winter 44-45 
meh, Berlin isn’t really that relevant pop culture wise.
But you’d turn down a lot of WW2 casuals who just want to experience D-Day and stuff.
And either way, seeing an out of place early war vehicle is a lot less bad than seeing a time-travelling late-war one.
No offense, but you should focus your efforts on making Stalingrad low-BR only. That’s way more likely to happen.

BR4-5 on Stalingrad is insane.
However, Normandy and Bulge make sense from BR 3 and up because having full bolt action fights on BR1-2 with early war crappy vehicles like M3 Lee, A13 and Crusader with Pz 38(t), yet without any M1 garands feels weird.
I guess that depends on where one grew up.
For me Berlin has been the pinnacle of WW2 and the picture of the Soviet banner on top of the Reichstag the definition of Victory Day. And I could come up with at least 5 movies about Berlin on the spot.
I only found out about Normandy at all when I played CoD 1.
