It is time to address nerfing or doing something to Body Armor

You’re giving off that you’re struggling if you’re blaming small factors like the is. So therefore I have to put it down as skill issues.

If you would introduce a poll voting system inside the game itself, 90% of the players wouldn’t even know body armor makes you survive one extra shot, since up to this update its a secret mechanic.

I could say the same - how you not being able to utilise better dps to your advantage, but I am not because I dont want to ever get personal about balance issues.

Oh, but there is,

That is until devs react. Which they don’t, they comfortably keep their heads in the sand.

Until they say either that:

  • we will keep armours as they are, because we are biased, and you guys know it by now

Or

  • We will address the issue as it affects balance, like any sensible devs do when the community asks

Then I’m afraid those posts will keep appearing. Don’t blame the playerbase, blame Go… the devs, as the saying goes.

No smart developer is going to base a decision over a poll that is less than a fraction of the population. If they did don’t you think they would have listened to you after the first 100 posts about this?

No smart dev would implement something like this without any downside in the first place…

Yet here we are.

I say its good that “they keep their heads in the sand” because I want them to turn body armor into an interesting mechanic with ups and downs instead of simply removing it.

Though to be fair, they should consider disabling the armor bonus until they rework it.

I use historical loadouts and do just fine with anything I use. I play for fun while still being competitive. Meta isn’t always fun.

Again. Read about population sampling as you sound seriously uneducated right now.

I’ve always said add a movement or stamina penalty but you all wanna keep crying and accusing me of being pro armour

You’re talking about chump change numbers and comparing it to a population survey which would be done correctly and not in a web forum  please stop replying, I can’t handle anymore second hand embarrassment from you

This is ture, but you cant balance the game around fun, balance is always directly linked to performance, though maybe some poor dps weapons have a reason to be poor.

I can imagine my dad for example loving FNAB because he would generally suck playing this game, and very slow RPM with big mags would save his life quite often.

There’s never going to be 100% balance, it’s not symmetrical and the game should have incentives to play other factions via the form of strengths and weaknesses.

Well maybe if your not pro armor you could have said something like:

“I am not pro armor, but the constant spamming of this topic is bad for the forum”

Instead of saying

“skill issue armor is no problem”

Yeah been saying that in the past 100 posts dude….

So ur not going read. U take pride in your ignorance.

Well you didn’t in this topic - you were literally defending armor, and now you are wondering why we are triggered with your comments?

Not reading your delusional slop arguments anymore

At what point did I defend armour besides calling it a coping mechanism? I’m not defending it and have been saying it needs some form of drawback rather than removal. But the arguments I’ve seen for this are just blown way out of proportion for such a simple thing that makes very little impact on gameplay.

Well when you say that I have skill issues for wanting body armor nerfed, its obvious that I will take this as you being pro armor.

I dont understand how you can possibly not understand that disagreeing with one side, without mentioning that you only disagree with their behaviour and not their opinion, isn’t automatically putting you into the opposite side of the argument.

Also you specifically defended armor by saying it doesnt matter while also saying its good asymmetrical balance - which are both two argumets people of the “armor defending side” have constantly been bringing up for the past two years now.
