first of all I am very biased when it comes to the Panther tank. Love that thing despite being a big over engineered mess.
Since Berlin came out, I was and still am disappointed with how weak the 7.5 l70 gun performs. No matter what I shoot, it either bounces, disappears into oblivion, or deals too little dmg.
This iconic tanks needs some love, I mean man, if I could choose it I would take the T34-85 into battle any day, since its hitbox is so broken and glitchy.
The panther is considered by many to be the most effective tank of the entire war despite its reliability issues. Its gun surpassed the Tigers 88 when it comes to overall anti tank capabilities.
something needs to be done, it just hurts my little Wehraboo soul to see its gun deal too little dmg.
The T-28 with its shrapnel shell is much worse, you cant even damage a Pz. II at times.
The 85mm on the T-34 also feels really anemic, it should nuke panthers when it pens but it does not.
This seems like you aim at the worst spots possible, the panther has the most powerfull cannon in the game, in short its a l2p issue.
Unfortunately I think its gun is in a perfect place. Its all about where you hit in this game.
I’m what I like to consider a Veteran now of Enlisted. But I was having problems killing a few tanks with Panzerfaust 60 and at first I was convinced it was bad hitboxes like AB41. However a friend of the game helped me and in the training ground I learned where all the weak points were. Suddenly what took 3 shots or more, takes 1 to 2. I watched him dismantle tanks with the sturmpistole.
Take the tank to the training ground, shoot at targets until you get a feel for good places to hit, and what to avoid if possible.
