The Devs did a great job this year by having more events than last year. It would be nice (Not expected) if we did not have week long gaps. This is kind of problematic at the end of the BP because there are no events and the BP bonus rewards are about as awesome as a Marshal portrait. Dump the pittance of silver replace it with a single +30% booster, keep the 3x50% and move it to day 5. 4x1x30% 1x50%x3
But I have a job that takes up all my time and I hate dude I can’t keep up with all the events! So therefore those that have the time don’t get to get them either!!! No more events!!!
Lower it back down to 20k, lower each of harder tasks to more reasonable numbers like 20 headshots, 70 kills with XYZ, 25 Rally points. 10 10 5. Drop the rewards 1k silver 1 less appearance order. Add trivial awards like vehicles camo or vehicle numbers. Lessen the time, lower the prizes, increase the amount of events. Lowering the prizes means FOMO is not a big deal. There are 100’s of cosmetics across many different vehicles. Some of those 200 gold items have zero sales. Hand out the unpopular ones, it will engage the players will to spend money so they can stand out. The game benefits from diversity in cosmetic design.
Again, they did an amazing job with events this year. I researched it and was surprised at how many there were. More than War thunder. Players would benefit from cheaper or event based cosmetics.
No… the objective should not be to give reasons not to do them… they already give out events with bad rewards like Johnson lmg… those give me a break and such… don’t need more bad events.
Is there such thing as a “bad” event with a high frequency of events? I skipped the WW1 event it was just too annoying, the weapon challenge was a pain but they adjusted the reward. But any reward is never “bad” middling, useless (Wire hammer) they are all still rewards. No rewards = bad, a bad reward = still a reward (Engagement by default on most events) , more events easier tasks for lower scale rewards = good. Squads are holy grail rewards and should reflect that, to that high bar there is a low bar 1000 silver.
You can bring up the dates but there should be a mini event literally every week in my opinion… at the very least every other with a main event sprinkled in between.
And yes… events with bad rewards like things that barely differentiate themselves from TT weaponry… and of course personal preference but that’s irrelevant.
Mini event every week would not be beneficial for them. I think this year will be around 30? 35 would be ideal. No 7-14 day stretches without something. I know the update is incoming over the next couple of days and that kind of counts as an EVENT+ especially is legacy is being introduced. That in itself will be interesting because a 5k silver chests has a 1% chance currently.
How? In their perspective it just retains players… what’s the difference then including them every like 3-4 weeks what it feels like… constant player retention vs random “spike” and not even… that’s more so for main events.
You can skip the mini events and be just fine… Hell I even wanted the lanchester model 1 but didn’t bother grinding out for it… meanwhile I earned the main event.
We have already achieved that.
I don’t. The next event will be a rider squad that I will absolutely not grind out unless they include blue tickets like they did for the last event as I wouldn’t have even done the jap at launcher one if they didn’t have weapon tickets.
I doubt it will be anything of importance… unless it has a >10% chance.
Furthermore… that’s only a reason to grind for the amount of time the boxes are available.
I got everyone beat for as many hours I have played in the amount of time I have dedicated to the bikes. Never bothered for some reason. They just seem so under powered.
I agree, I think they did a good job with events this year…but with the new update right around the corner, I’m fine having devs focus on that.
Do what I did, finish the achievements and grind silver for the update.
That is all I do, Join any and mine silver and exp. up to 500k so far that was from 30k a few weeks back which was the lowest I had been in years but I have completed 95% of all squads for all nations. 4 BRs in one nation. I am hoping legacy for me is more specialty units like mortars, machine guns, flamers.
