I used to main Germany, and now I want to start playing a new faction. I see that USSR & Japan have no impact grenade, only white phosphorus grenade. Is it useful, or is it worse than normal grenade?
It is worse. It used to bee overpowered but after the nerfs the gas does nearly no damage and fire can be easily extinguished. You are better of using explosion packs or frags

yes, back in time it was great against both infantry and vehicles. Now even if you throw it under someones tank it barely does anything, even molotov is better versus tanks

I carry Molotov’s across all four factions. Way too helpful when fighting a large group of enemies, area denial and disabling tanks. Very underrated. Whereas with impact grenades, apart from that damage nerf, they just feel cheesy.
Yeah the molotovs are good for blocking. I kinda favour the xplosion packs, great for tanks, groups, and storming like using a flash bang, bit of smoke after and a hail.of my gunfire
