Is this tree intentionally designed to be almost indestructable?

this tree so strong even tanks struggles runnning this tree down

The trees on the Normandy maps have the exact same issue. Even before the bug that rendered satchel charges unable to fell trees, these trees were incredibly tough to demolish. You can only take them down by placing charges around the roots; tossing a charge right where two roots intersect will do nothing to topple the tree.

This issue is prominent on the third Normandy defense map. A stretch of these sturdy trees sits to the right of the capture point, blocking tank movement and obstructing cannon fire. It feels like DF intentionally placed these titanium-hard trees as makeshift anti-tank barriers, similar to the metal bollards lined along main roads on the Far East maps meant to block APCs and block line of sight for armored vehicles.

This design choice is downright ridiculous. It would be far more reasonable to add trenches and bunkers instead of indestructible trees. Only in War Thunder do developers use invulnerable trees to form anti-tank zones for infantry cover. This design would be mocked relentlessly if someone implemented it as a mod for Hell Let Loose or Gates of Hell.

I think we ought to launch a map feedback poll to demand adjustments to these indestructible trees that tanks cannot knock down and artillery shells cannot fell.

The map is set in Normandy, France. If all forests here consist of such ultra-tough trees, it stands to reason the German army would have never pulled off the Ardennes offensive. Clearing woodland with tank rounds and satchel charges would create massive noise and consume an enormous amount of time, completely ruining their blitzkrieg sneak attack.

idk if its just normandy this trees have different variant in different maps but the same design
