With this new progression system coming, is it worth it with my silver to upgrade squads with 3 silver guns, if i already have squads decked out with same gun in other campaigns?
Example: have berlin allies decked out with fedros, but not full in moscow. Would it be worth it to spend silver to get those squads up to berlin level?
Long story short: would i be wasting silver doing this.
if you free to play, it’s a waste
but if you pay to have advantage, then there is potentially still reason to do it if you have all the squad slots for those in the new system
either way, probably best to wait and see now
If you have 3 squads equipped with the same gun, you don’t need more (cuz full rotation is 3 squads). It’s that simple.
But playing over and over the same gun is boring anyway.
well, not necessarely.
it would be wiser to instead aim to unlock stuff that you haven’t unlocked before.
as you will be pretty much able to use your best squads and change their weapons to fit your favorite br.
on the other hand, it might help you to have doubles of good soldiers and what not so you won’t have to keep switching back and forth weapons.
great in combo with presets.
but that’s up to you.
personal advise,
i wouldn’t spend silvers now because we do not know the conversion exchange between cards and total silver, which you might need more later than now.
and eventually, if you misses something, you will be later on able to get it fairly quickly if you have enough.
i have everything unlocked so im just playing right now to level up squads
well, if you are just interested to lvel up squads, i’ll might suggest you to wait. as you will be able to use silver to upgrade them.
the same cannot be said about soldiers though, i’d like to remind that those will only improve based on how much you play with them. ( though, we do not know the coversation of type II and III soldiers what’s going to happen to them )
Get as many squads as possible because better spam/ cycle without changing loadouts all the time.
Then no need to take the federal, except you perform extremely well with them and you feel the urge to buy them.
Little tip: stack Stalingrad weapons that will disappear such as the MP717, or the Mannlicher BA rifle.
