Is there a way in the game to ban the pacific maps for the Allies ? I really like the Normandy maps, but the maps for the Pacific are utter garbage which i would not like to play at all ( but MM force me into them like 2/3 of the time), can i ban that garbage somehow or the only way not to end up there is if I stop playing Allies and stick with Germany & the Soviets ?

Only customs let you to do that. Matchmaking has no freedom and map filter doesn’t even work.

That is crap … the devs should really separate the MM. The Normandy maps are easily my favourites, and usually the Germany vs Allies games are the most fun and balanced ones. While Japan vs Allies is something I would desert from every single time if i wouldnt be punished for it so bad … crap maps, rigged 1 sided games.
Guess I will just stop playing Allies and keep playing my BR III Soviets or BR II or BR IV Germans. It is really sad that the devs kill the fun out of the Allied teams with forcing that garbage pacific front.

Do you get Silver, XP, etc. when playing custom matches?
Despite what Gaijin say i could never get a single silver or xp by playing custom games even if they have multiple players across both teams.

When I want to play Allies, especially in level one or two, I almost always just create my own custom match which rules out playing in the Pacific theatre. I get experience, silver and tech tree research but at a much smaller amount then if I were in the regular match system. And, another bonus is the custom match bots actually build rally points.

So silver/xp on customs is only gained on Gaijin approved maps and not custom? That’s ultra lame.
I never tried customs to be fair. But i guess I will just toss aside the Allies for now, till they do something about that, and just keep on playing the Soviets and Germans at least there almost all the maps are fun… tough even as Germany the Normandy and North Africa maps are pretty damn rare.
I don’t know what their custom match/experience ect. policy is, but I play a lot of Omer and Baloe Lake when I go custom matches and always get some experience ect. I also on occasion played Fortress in Tunisia and got smally rewarded there as well. But if they have maps they don’t reward on I wouldn’t know which.
The experience is microscopic compared to playing in their standard matches. I am only playing standard now after I build up several 100% and 200% boosters, so I get a ton in just a couple matches. However, pretty much everything is maxed and researched, so there isn’t much I need anyway.
I thought about them, and my post about them got taken down. (This is a joke, I don’t care that it taken down, I know why)
There used to be a choice of fronts, along with choosing your own “event” weapons but they took choices away.
Well this looks like a bit of a self sabotage on the devs side then. Probably not a huge revenue but i was thinking about buying an extra slot for my Allies same as i did with the Germans …but i dont want to suffer vs Japan on crap maps.
Japan’s very easy to defeat once you figure out how to exploit things so overall stronger player base is all you need but considering most of them are from Tunisia I wouldn’t get your hopes up.
