Is there a way to get Soviet teams to defend the point?

BR II Soviets is absolute hell. No rallies, no one on the point other than me.

Play as an officer and enact Order No. 227

Yeah. By removing the pre merge t-34-85 squad.

Dead serious. That and the 110g2 squad would greatly improve matchmaking for both BRV soviets and germany.

I really don’t even care that’s it’s taking away something from the player.

All Brs are the same, people don’t even know how to play in BR5.

When I first unlocked the FG 42, I decided to play a couple matches in BR V. Absolutely hated it. All it was was the same select fire rifle spammed in 3 rifleman squads all with vitality. Like where is the skill? So I decided to never go higher than BR III, since it actually takes skill to play, and I like the variety of weapons.

Not to mention rally points are an endangered species. At least in BR III people build them.

Meh, I’ve been playing this game for years, I’ve played more than 2 in BR5 believing it was the pinnacle of this game, the challenger of League of Legend, the Cod quarterback, something like that and it has only gone from bad to worse, especially after the merger.

I’ve played games without a single rally point in br 5 and people building 10 per capture point in br 1, that’s relative and only depends on how much interest your team has in playing.

My advice: (something I understood late when looking for competitiveness in this game) Just play for fun and if your team trolls and you see that it is impossible to win, start looking at the map, test weapons, shooting positions and try to get the best out of the game.

But don’t let the game drown you, go up to br5 if you want, play a couple of games, the best team is always between br3 and 5. The power that a king tiger (tiger h) gives you is incredible, the speed of a reaction jet, and things like that are fun… Even the motorcycles that I hated at first I discovered are fun to go at high speeds shooting around there until you fly 4m high and flip xD

I found I preferred BR III the most. It has the most iconic weapons of the war, has the most cohesive teams in the game (for the most part). And it just feels right. Enlisted shouldn’t be a CS2 knockoff in BR V - it should feel gritty like WWII, and that’s precisely what BR III and below feels like.

Perhaps I should try a motorcycle squad sometime. I’m waiting for the next Enlisted sale so I can pick up squad slots on discount (I’m hoping to get 2 for each faction for around $15), cause then I can take my usual loadout plus some goofy squads or weapons along.

Which is probably the other reason why I like BR II - III. You can take basically any weapon along and have fun, whereas BR V is less forgiving.

The last thing is true, br5 has no mercy xD although I will tell you that my best game was with my powerful tiger h and the fact of having survived an IS2, an IS1, a t34-85, 4 plane passes and multiple infantry in a single game xD

In the end, the game is all about those moments! Cheers, bro!

PS: The thing about the spaces is a very good idea, in my most Tryhard moment, I had the premium and all the spaces in Germany (my main campaign) and it’s crazy to have so many troops in the game xD

I’m only F2P currently, so I only have 4 slots which is quite limiting. Although admittedly it’s not that bad. You tend to learn pretty quick what wins games, or at least what suits your playstyle. I have no wish to have 9 slots, as I don’t even have that many squads I like.

Flamethrowers were alright, but I found they were too niche for my uses. Snipers, mortars and AT squads have no use to me (since I bring an AT soldier and at least one TNT charge per squad anyway). And I always bring Engineers in every squad.

I tend to bring:

  • 1 engineer squad
  • 1 assaulter squad
  • 1 mg squad
  • 1 tank squad (though I hardly use it)

But I’m hoping to expand it to:

  • 2 engineer squads
  • 1 assaulter squad
  • 1 mg squad
  • 1 tank squad
  • 1 plane squad

or 1 radio operator squad in place of the plane squad.

From My Experience, its a player problem not a Faction Problem. They need to give incentives so that player wants to defend the point, like more points for defending the point while in/on the point

There should be a passive trickle of points when standing on the point - maybe 6 every however long it takes to cap a point. And rally points should be upped to 50xp, just like APCs.
