Sometimes my quotes disappear immediately after I write a message, without any notification.

Same, it’s really annoying because it makes me look schizophrenic when the reply doesn’t show what I was replying to.

-this manually added as a quote by highlighting text in your post and using the mouse to “quote” it rather than using the “Quote whole post” function - so it seems fine to me.

Not if I just quote a specific line
if you quote whole message, then forum will sometimes auto delete that quote. think that it is tied to individual reply(but i might be mistaken). if you quote only parts of message or add some extra space in quote then it will not auto delete.

It always deletes a whole message quote if you are posting it in the very next message

if you quote the whole message above you, the forum removes it, it wasnt like this before only since 2 maybe 3 months ago.
On the other hand if you quote a little less then the whole post then it wont remove your quote.
Forum code seems to be broken as ever.

I’ve never had a message removed (unless it violated community standards 
), however, I have never quoted the entire message, I just quote key words.
First emojis and then quotes idk what would be next LOL why forum is literally dying recently
