I’m starting Tunisia and I’m wondering if the Owen Premium Squad is a good investment for the grind.
No. The basic Sten is more useable at the ranges you’ll often be fighting at in Tunisia. I personally dislike the Owens’ sight picture as well. Turner SMLE is a much better grinding squad.

I think you have to ask yourself is spending money on premium squads at this juncture in the games development is smart, Given that we don’t really know whats gonna become a premium squads or squads in general

Owen is already available for free in Pacific, so depending on how the campaigns are merged it could become a free unlock once the new progression/tech tree/campaign rework update is launched.
So its probably best for now to pick up a different squad that has a weapon or vehicle that is not in any other campaign, or just wait to see how how the new sytem will work before picking it up.

Many premium squads I own will presumably be obsolete.
As far I understand the coming changes.
Not that many of them were particularly competitive before.
But why would you after the merge wanna get 4 engineers with G41s or Johnsons?
Or 5 assaulters with Kiralys or Owens. The list goes longer.
At least they were campaign-unique. Soon they will be … what?

im sure they will make them more powerful, they can allow more soldiers in the squad

They will still function as ways to quickly unlock weapons and ease the grind for new players. Personally I hope they make the premium squads better, but I kinda doubt it. Plus at the moment I would rather them focus on making sure all the new systems are as polished as possible upon release. Then maybe later they can update them with engineers [PLEASE].
if these squads will be shit then they will have to make them more capable, i think that some changes will occur
it wouldnt make sense to sell worthless squads for this high amounts
if game will improve so these squads will but to what extent i dont know, maybe 7 assaulter squads as back in a day
Wrong those squad are only collectible for support the game is already stated a lot of time, outiside the 100% additional experience they are not supposed to give you advantage of any sort

even if they added more soldiers to it, doesnt mean they would be overpowered, it would make sense for upcoming update to improve all aspects of game along with premium squads
No, the sight on this gun is located on the right side of the gun and the view is a bit poor, for the weapon alone, the Lanchester is the better SMG
