Is the Anti Cheat Really Effective? Seeing some issues in gameplay

How effective is the anti-cheat system,

Starting to experience some ‘fun killing’ gameplay that I find hard to explain.

I’m prone, in bushes, in undulating ground, not firing and alone… BAM Headshot from some AI or player from over 50m away (sometimes at lower elevation). HOW did he see me, how did he hit me? Wallhack? Aimbot?

Starting to see some very fast aiming and 1 shot killing from unrealistic distances, when I am in visual or hard cover.

Reaction to fire… I shoot an AI or player from distance when his back is turned. I miss - he turns 1 shot kill on me… all in less that 1 or 1.5 seconds. Unrealistic and HOW did he locate me so fast an accurately.

Most matches are a lot of fun - but some are getting like a bad day in Counterstrike. Can this be looked into? Anyone else seeing this happen to them?

I hardly doubt Easy Anti-cheat is any effective!

You probably were yolokilled by the AI. Sadly they are too powerfull still if they are usefull for once. I was often enough killed by the AI in funny ways…

Yeah, sadly AI is often pretty much ignoring soft cover and is able to see you with almost superman sight accuracy. The best way to counter that is to point with V marker on the direction shot is coming from to order your AI to wake the hell up and shoot back.

There were some AI improvements and they “should” be more effective on close range on expense of long range, before it was even worse (not like the “close range” part actually works).

I don’t like to yell around calling cheats here and there, even more since I know I’m not that skilled with FPS in general wnen it comes to reflexes and quick point-and-kill, I try to compensate with careful movement and tactics.
Yet admittedly, I’ve played some matches in “lone fighter” mode (hence no AI around) where I’ve had my butt constantly served to me on a dish in less than a second after contact, with such regularity that I’ve come to HOPE some kind of cheating was involved, because if THAT’S the average skill bar of the playerbase I’m supposed to reach in order to “hit gud”, I just have no hope to keep up, and may as well just keep shooting bots or give up and quit altogether.

Every time I’ve been killed in a “suspicious” way. It turns out the player or their AI was just plain lucky because they could never repeat the same thing. As for how effective Easy Anti Cheat is… it works, but its not top notch. That being said, nothing keeps out all the hackers no matter how well you design it.

EAC is known to be extremely flawed; it’s more effective than nothing but it’s not effective at all.

How about you make the AI act more humaniod at killing. And not so much just “scanning sector” kinda looking stuff and more like, alright target 50 meters out, try hit it.

How about you make a proper suggestion so the Devs can take a look on it. They already work on AI anyways.
