For ages, this game let players joins midmatch
You can find you joined a match that:
You spawned way behind your allies, because time passed, spawn point retreated.
Enemies already gained some capture progression
You can not use ANY vehicle slots because all of them are occupied.
Or even worse:
You already lose one sector
You already lose TWO sectors (I have seen this, and instant quit)
Your team’s score is already HUNDREDS less than enemy’s. (I have seen this pretty common)

Do you know as a defender there’s ~30s of window that you can be spawned DIRECTLY inside the point? If you joined late, you also have disadvantage of an extra travel distance.
I have complained about this way earlier, and still dosent find any fixes, or even signs of trying to fix this.
Suggestions:
Just introduce the warm up time! Or if you are lazy, use the waiting time! Wait till the 3min joining procedure done or enough humans arrived. Then start the match. Also stop filling in HUMAN player for a match that already has a SIGNIFICANT progress! (Like there’s already points captured)
BTW: Why I am mad again because I am playing german in berlin campagin. There’s just no hope if the match already become spawncamping-ish unbalanced.
i m noticing this more and more on berlin campaign.
matches start with humans on one side and no one on the other… once matchmaking finally places someone on a match, 1 or 2 capture points are already lost with less than 10kills overall.
Yeah, the first few minutes with nearly void human in one side, giving opposite enough time to create a large progression that even humans joined later can not catchup with.

Yes it is…
It means people who loaded before you need to wait until you load up/someone load up, and that can take long time…
Especially if X guy doesn’t even have SSD
brother still have a normal HDD, computer specs are fine tho, he tankes like (give or take) 30 seconds to load, and once loaded into the match we can visualy see the props loading around the map for another 10 seconds or so untill the spawn screen finally apears…
Not really about the loading time. The joining procedure only make a human enter the match, not includes the stage of their names turn dark color (joining) into colored (in match).
I suppose only talks about joining/matchmaking process, not after loading the match.
You can still enter a late stage match by entered the match but not spawned via alt-tab.
Interestingly all your team members with nonzero score were bots, humans are from 7-11. So at least humans on your side started nearly at the same time.
the game that allows for those few that remained in the match to get help by others players in order to somewhat finish the match?
or the player leaving despite the chance to actually fight back, and the game allowing him not to wait 3 minuts just for a match that could end worse?.
Matchmaker has been increased by a minute or two just to fill more maps with actuall players… what is good move …
But the problem is that most of players will just quit boring conqest maps and game has to try to fill those spots with real players what results of you joining the game that has allready started !
Say thanks to the kids that leave the matches 24/7 because the dont like conquest, ruining the experience for the rest. I would ban these individuals so they stop fucking around
Lol, yes please ban me because I dont want to play something I do not like. I have 2 hours a day to play a computer game, I really am not going to play something that I do not like. I play this game for invasion not for the conquest.
How about the devs fix that we can play what we want so neither mode has this problem.
I’ve noticed it a lot too - but it seems to be me replacing a player who has quit soon after start - presumably they do not like the game - at the end of the game there are a number of players with 0 score and strikethrough indicating they quit.
That pre-match lobby was WORST thing in whole game. First you have to wait usually 40 - 60 second that you found battle then you need to wait 25 second that all people with toasters are loading.
