I just start to play my most dislike campaign–Normandy
and found out how _ the team is.
I certainly know how unbalance this campaign is back from last year. So I’m only going to play on Axis side.
This map is known for extreme hard for attack. But also extreme fast at capture and extreme more additional tickets per cap.
But the team just REFUSE to put any useful rallypoint except by me. The red one is put up by me. And the blue one… a joke?
This FAR from cap point? Or just a camping site for yourself?

I love play tanks too. Especially the powerful PZ4E in moscow. It’s just so easy at farming enemies. also the scores really dont show how much you contribute to the team, or to the match. Using tanks is so much easier than infantry.
The worst thing when you try to flank enemy and set rally to attack from different angle. You are nearly there but suddenly your engineer gets sniped from someone prone on top of hill on the other side of map or rooftop. Everyone then survives whole journey to the point but the engineer.

That’s why i build rally point 40 - 50 meter earlier where i was planning to put it because if i die i have shorter distance from previous rally point instead whole run from actual spawn and then run last crucial distance and if i make it i build rally again.
I was the only one who build them so If I build in increments it would destroy the former one that was already close to objective and in good spot but at the time as it was the only rally it already drew too much attention and was under attack constantly so I wanted to relocate it.
Tip is build incremental rallies, but never too close or you get active battles and nobody spawn, I do mine about 50-60m away, DDay is tough, lots of new players sitting on beach, not realizing if they don’t push we die…
Depending on how many defenders/attackers know what they are doing.
Unlike other invasions, performance on the first cap tends to be crucial for defenders because, unlike most of the other invasions, the beach cap provides defenders notable advantages.
I tend to say that to new players on that map… If we get past the beach relatively easily, we usually win.
And it is true… at least it was for me so far.
