I have just had a match where I died twice and it gave me this message about being
team killed " You were occasionally killed by teammate:"
Is this a new feature? I’m sure I have not noticed this before

TK was always a thing, you just have to use a flamethrower, artillery, running people over or cocktails to actually do it

yep and i believe that bombs can TK if the pilot dies before bombs go off

They need to fix that sentence. The word “occasionally” doesn’t fit there.
Aye that is correct indeed, if the bomb detonates after death it deals the same ammount of dmg to a teammate as it does to an enemy.
Was not aware that bombs do no damage to friendlies (only been playing a few days). I think aircraft weapons (bombs/rockets/rounds) should injure/kill friend and foe alike, just like arty. More than one TK, the player’s aircraft explodes and he gets to move on to some other squad. Would go some ways to muting the 'toss a bomb in amongst them and let Gaijin sort 'em out" style of play.

That style of play is honestly the best thing to do at the moment, drop bombs in the conflict zone and wipe out all the enemies. All you have to do is wait for the bombs to go off before you suicide and go back to the ground fight.
