Trying to balance weapons by dispersion is considered as a cardinal sin in fps games.
It seems they had plentiful of time and resources to have a totally futuristic/unreal event like mechas ( and fairly balanced compared to normal gameplay weirdly) but not touching any issues about core weapons ?
I mean why darkflow just didnt made this game a sci fi shooter at the first place ?
His team seems doing it better than real life weapons
Hello! I like money.
money ?
this is just downgrading gameplay
literal suicide
it wont bring them money but the opposite
I know bro
But there is no possibilty to be solved that problem.
Releasing new premium squad is more important for them
You realize that the team who made the mechs for the event would not be the same team who works on the guns, right?
You can’t take the guys who work on models and design and go, “Hey, go work on gun balance for a while!”
There are a lot of different jobs and roles in game development, and not everyone is able to do someone else’s job. Its different skill sets.
Sometimes, when a specific team has nothing to do they can find time to do extra projects, like make mechs. Its a lot better than having them sitting around doing nothing. Or only hiring them when needed.
Just because a game developer makes something frivolous, does not mean they had resources to spare. Only specific teams with spare time. Art and design teams are usually the ones with the most extra time, which is why things like cosmetics are common DLC for games.
Anyways, dispersion is a perfectly fine mechanic in shooter games. Having every weapon laser accurate would mean that only the fastest firing/hardest hitting weapons would matter. Also, its realistic. Not every weapon hits exactly where you aim, either due to design or skill.
Just see what they have done for M2 Carbine and M1928A1 Thompson, aperture sight problem is never realized and the only thing they do is to change the recoil. As for dispersion, MKb42 is thorwn into trash bin after devs increased the dispersion greatly.
They seem to have no plan or idea, just do something based on ‘big data’.
It took me 3 minutes (I can’t add some sort of camera movement, but devs surely could)
So yeah, that’s definitely impossible to do, when you work 3 seconds in a week only to increase Axis ticket gain
Try to use your brain for one time, the team for the event who adjusted the mech from warthunder is not the same who work on gun shooting, those guy dont work together if there is not a big work who require the full team
What you are suggesting is ask the guy who work on model to work a bit on shooting?

I suggest recoil guy to learn, what common sense is.
And that is definitely not when gun goes through your shoulder
And when front sight stays 100% centered on screen
Good go to work at darkflow and teach them
They need seniors with 2 year experience.
I’m 1st year student.
So maybe in 3-5 years
Hello
How to have view like second video ?
It looks awesome
Is it playable with that in squads mode ?
No, its messing with mission editor.
And wont work in multiplayer.
But at least it was forwarded to devs
Hell yeah me too.
